1. What sizes do your rugs come in?
We don’t have a set size. We endeavour to supply a rug as close as possible to your preferred size.
As a guide, a standard size rug is 2×3 meters. There are no strict rules with sizing, rather, you can style the rug to your taste by placing however much of the rug under your couch or table.
2. Can I view the rug?
We will send you images of a rug/s that fit your description. However, as the rugs come from Turkey, they can not be viewed in person prior to purchase.
3. What is the purchase process?
Once you have chosen your rug out of the images we have shown you, we require a deposit to secure the rug and commence importation. Once the rug has arrived in Melbourne, you can inspect the rug at our office. You can then take the rug with you once the remainder of the payment has been made. For those of you not living on Melbourne, the rug will be sent to you. We will require the remainder of the payment prior to local shipping.
4. Can I return my rug purchase?
Yes, but unfortunately you will loose your deposit. It is important to understand that due to their nature, they may contain minor imperfections. These are normal and part of the style of these rugs. If you require more photographs or have further detailed questions, please contact us via email.
5. Can you ship the rug to me?
Shipping within Australia and to New Zealand is free. We prefer business addresses if possible to avoid issues with delivery. Your rug will be folded and delivered to you by courier. If you don’t live in Australia or NZ, you still might be able to persuade us to send it to you for free.
Pickup is available from Melbourne, Victoria.
6. Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International shipping may attract a fee. Please contact us prior to purchasing the rug for a quote. Generally, Patchy Rugs’ fees include shipping and handling to your port. However, Patchy Rugs is not responsible for any import taxes/fees specific to your country of origin.
7. Can I insure the transport of the rug?
We can provide freight insurance to secure the safe delivery of your item to your door for $50 per item. If your item was lost or damaged on the way to your home/office, and you have insured the item, let us know within 12 days.
